General purpose ESD bags has a buried metal shielding layer that offers superior durability at low cost. General purpose ESD bags are also known as anti static bags, static shielding or Metal In shielding bags. General purpose ESD bags are constructed from an alloy electrostatic shield with a tough layer of polyester protection. These ESD bags are abrasion and puncture resistant.
General purpose ESD bags are semi-transparent. ESD bags meet or exceed the requirements of MIL-PRF-81705D Type III, EIA 625, MIL-HDBK-263, MIL-STD-1686, and EOS/ESD Standards.
